Fazioli at Vancouver's Power 50 Event

VANCOUVER, BC - On Monday the 14th of November, the Vancouver Club hosted the annual celebration of the 50 most powerful people in the city.

The reception for the city's most influential people included some beautiful music by talented jazz musician Max Zipursky on a Fazioli piano on loan from Showcase Pianos.

Local sensation Craig Stanghetta was listed among the 50, a designer that is responsible for helping update some of the city's important retail locations and restaurants.

Fazioli Supports Fundraiser, Children's Hospital Raises $2.5m

VANCOUVER, BC - Saturday the 21st of January was truly a memorable night as the city came together to raise money for much needed machines at the BC Children's Hospital.

The audience was moved by experiences shared by local celebrity and Global TV News anchor Aaron McArthur, when he described the complicated surgery that was required for his newborn daughter years ago.  Local business leader and philanthropist Silvia Chen received a standing ovation as she donated $1,000,000 in cash to the Hospital.

The audience enjoyed a live performance by young piano duo Isabelle Xin-Yi Wang and Ray Zhang, who did an incredible performance on a Fazioli piano donated for the evening by Showcase Pianos.

Canada's 1st Stefano Ricci Store Now Open

VANCOUVER, BC - Located across the street from the Shangri-La and next to the new Trump Tower, passers by can see the new 'Stefano Ricci' store at 1139 West Georgia Street.

The store features Stefano Ricci's pricey menswear as well as fragrances, accessories (such as leather goods and cuff links) and home goods such as porcelain and crystal dinner services, silverware and luxury linens.  Every item in the store is made by hand in Italy, using the highest quality of materials.  Stefano Ricci has been described as ‘the Rolls-Royce’ of clothing.

Fazioli at BC's Nature Trust Fundraiser Gala

VANCOUVER, BC - On Wednesday the 5th of October, Showcase Pianos sponsored the Fazioli piano for the Nature Trust of BC's Fundraiser Gala, which celebrated 45 years of land conservation.

Local music educator Annabelle Paetsch performed skillfully on the Fazioli, and said of the piano: “The touch is highly responsive; encouraging and facilitating tonally nuanced playing.  Truly a very rewarding artistic experience!  I can see why the Fazioli is in demand as a recording instrument as well as for live concerts."

The event was held at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, where guests enjoyed an amazing evening of food and music, showing their support for continued land conservation in the province of BC.

Stefano Ricci Vancouver Opening in Fall of 2016

Showcase Pianos owners Manuel & Judy Bernaschek discovered the brand in Rome 10 years ago during their first year of marriage - at the same time they were preparing to open their first piano store.   Now they are happy to announce that they have partnered with the illustrious clothing factory to open the first Stefano Ricci store in Canada.

Located across the street from the Shangri-La Hotel, next door to the new Trump Tower, Stefano Ricci aims to open in November of 2016.

Ray Zhang pays Fazioli for unveiling of Bugatti Chiron

VANCOUVER, BC - On Wednesday the 7th of September, Showcase Pianos was invited to send a hand made Italian Fazioli piano to the unveiling of the incredible Bugatti Chiron - the most powerful car being made in the world today.

Guests enjoyed beautiful music performed by the Max Zipursky Jazz Trio.   All were welcomed by Bugatti dealership owner Asgar Virgi, who invited 9-year-old award winning pianist Ray Zhang to perform a song for the unveiling of the Bugatti Chiron while ballerinas danced around the car gracefully.

At around $4m CAD, the Bugatti Chiron is one of the most costly automobiles in the world - and with 1,500 horsepower, it is definitely the most powerful.   Truly the pinnacle of automobile engineering.
