VANCOUVER, BC - On Saturday the 10th of May, Fazioli and Bentley owners and their VIP guests were invited to visit the Gwerk Gallery, which is the future site of the amazing new Vancouver House building.
The Max Zipursky Trio filled the gallery with beautiful jazz music until guests listened to architectural critic and gallery curator Trevor Boddy as he described his work in creating the display. Pianists of the Vancouver Young Pianists Club performed for the very appreciative audience, who were also able to enjoy viewing a beautiful new Bentley Flying Spur which had been brought there courtesy of MCL's Jonathan Wang.
One of the highlights of the evening was the incredible operatic performance by sopranos Sarah Tatto and Mariana Valdes. One of the pieces they performed was "Sull'Aria" from Mozart's 'Marriage of Figaro', made famous by the movie 'Shawshank Redemption'.
